Ensures best practices, terms and conditions are negotiated for corporate and consumer benefit including, but not limited to: general terms and conditions, scheduling requirements, development, insurance, shipping terms and payment terms. Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all the terms and conditions are met.. This includes working with on terms for field services and with the applications engineering group on terms for goods and services. The contracts include specific projects and long term agreements with major users of CCC equipment and services. Acts as the primary contact between the business unit, legal and commercial, ensuring all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Frequently communicates with internal sales, engineering, and contract staff to maintain knowledge of current and proposed projects in order to maintain and develop contractual process standards. Develops, integrates and implements contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement. Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit report on the condition of the truck at the end of each trip. Check shipping papers to determine the nature of load and to check for the presence of hazardous materials. Ensure that all shipment documentation required to move with shipment is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered. Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
