| Details: ASSISTANT TREASURERCompetitive Pay & Excellent BenefitsOur manufacturing industry client, located near the Quad Cities, is looking for an experienced accounting professional to joint their Treasury Group in the newly created role of Assistant Treasurer. Â Responsibilities:*Manage and perform daily cash management functions including assessment of collections and disbursements, daily cash reporting, short-term investing or funding, cashbook journal entries and treasury reporting*Lead and enhance the Company's banking services (integrated payables, collections, merchant card and procurement cards)*Lead and enhance the Company's cash forecasting, short-term investing, and short-term borrowing functions*Act as liaison in conducting business with operating companies and banking institutions.*Streamline and enhance treasury reporting (i.e. cash balances, investment schedules and debt schedules) *Assist Treasurer in leasing, trade financing and foreign exchange, as appropriate*Assist Treasurer with enhancement of working capital efficiency*Assist Treasurer with the corporate hedging function*Research economic trends and investment opportunities*Oversee and maintain bank account database, documentation and signatory authorizations*Monitor and update Sarbanes Oxley procedural documentation and coordinate with internal and external auditors for testing of controls*Assist in developing policies and procedures for all treasury operations and ensure compliance with Internal Audit | ||||
